Since 1984 Marin AIDS Project (MAP) has provided services for people in Marin County living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and Spectrum LGBT Center has provided services for the LGBTQ+ community. In 2015, both organizations joined under name of our common founder, the Reverend Janie Spahr. Today the Spahr Center’s services include free and confidential HIV testing, medical case management, benefits advocacy, mental health counseling and psychiatric services, emergency financial assistance, transportation assistance, a food pantry, a syringe access program and a wide variety of supportive services and groups. The Spahr Center serves the community with programs and services that create community; support and empower people and contribute to the enrichment of our lives.
